Frame made of timber.
The strapping of the structure is placed on the mortgage beam, and all this is done according to the project. Then put up the racks. Bar racks are placed in increments of nine hundred – one thousand two hundred millimeters due to the fact that the cross section of the installed timber allows you to transfer the load with a certain step. Racks are attached to the strapping with the help of staples and nails or spikes. In the corners of the building (on both sides) you need to establish two struts. These struts serve to communicate maximum rigidity to the frame. After mounting the racks, the upper strapping is performed; the procedure is similar to the bottom strapping.
During the installation of racks, at the points of door and window openings, the racks are narrowed (pulled apart) by the estimated value of the window and door block. In these openings (bottom and top), additional crossbars (crossbeams) are established, on which the blocks will focus.
On the racks, at both ends, spikes are cut out, they are made in this way – one hundred and fifty millimeters are marked along the entire length of the rack (after all, the width of the strapping is one hundred and fifty millimeters), and with the help of a special square, a line is drawn. Fifty millimeter marks are made on the line, and, at the same time, a square is used, lines are drawn. The ends of the beam are sawn into half a tree and fastened with a dowel. Racks are established exactly in the center of the connection point.
