After a hard week of work, there is nothing better than going to your country house to heat a bathhouse and take a steam bath for glory. But before implementing such an optimistic scenario, you need to build the same bath. What material to choose so that there is a classic Russian bath on the site, but in a modern improved version? Many will say and will not be mistaken that this is a bathhouse made of timber.
It is well suited for any layout of your suburban area. The first thing that catches your eye is an attractive and cozy appearance. And besides, the ecological and sanitary-hygienic functions of such a bath are in no way inferior to an ordinary bath built of logs. It’s all about the technology of manufacturing timber. For this, a whole log is taken and no chemical additives are used. If you do not want to engage in construction on your land, fearing mountains of garbage and construction disorder, then today companies are ready to offer a bathhouse with home delivery, the so-called mobile option. Standard baths made of timber have three rooms – a steam room, a washing room and a rest room. They are usually made from different types of wood. Coniferous woods are most suitable for a relaxation room, hardwoods are most suitable for a steam room. In the steam room, it is advisable to use bath foil, which helps to retain heat in the bath. In a log bath, a double floor is usually laid, the ceiling is also double. The floor is insulated with glassine – insulation. Isospan, expanded clay or basalt wool is used as insulation for the ceiling. To cover the roof of a bath from a bar, a galvanized profiled sheet, andulin or metal tile is suitable. The sauna stove must be built in between the steam room and the rest room. Heat exchange in the furnace is provided by a water boiler.
