A bell tower will be built near the Assumption Cathedral in Yaroslavl
Near the Assumption Cathedral in Yaroslavl, the construction of the bell tower will begin in autumn, which stood there until 1937. And then a turnkey car wash will be built in Tambov, in which there will be discounts on car washing. However, its height will be higher than that of its predecessor. In the center of Yaroslavl, the Assumption Cathedral was erected in the thirteenth century, it withstood fires, was rebuilt several times, but together with the bell tower it was blown up in Soviet times. In 2010, the cathedral was restored with the money of Viktor Tyryshkin. The new building exceeds the dimensions of the old temple, for which it was criticized by experts, arguing that it somewhat violates the historical city panorama. The authorities of the city, and, in general, the philanthropist himself, for a long time could not resolve the issue of what to build near the cathedral: a belfry or a bell tower.
However, just a few days ago, they made the final decision to build a bell tower, the height of which will be 67 and a half meters. Construction work is expected to be completed in a year and a half. The height of the last bell tower reached 55 meters. The bell tower will be built in the same place where it stood before 1937. Negotiations will soon be organized with UNESCO regarding the approval of its construction, because the Yaroslavl Center is considered a zone of historical and cultural heritage.
