You may have to move along the roof, so you need to use elements that will prevent falling from it or, in the event of an emergency, provide evacuation.
Let’s start with roofing. It will allow you to safely move and work on the roof, installing and checking antennas and satellite dishes, cleaning chimneys. Usually the fence is installed at the level of the eaves.
If your roof has a slope with one or another slope, then you definitely need roof bridges, the slope angle of which is easily adjustable. They allow you to move between the slopes even after rain, as they do not let precipitation pass.
To move along the slope of the roof, roof ladders are used, which are installed directly on the roof and ensure the safe performance of maintenance work. In the conditions of the snowy Russian winter, roofs must also be equipped with snow retainers, which will prevent thawing and sliding snow from falling on people from above. Depending on the number of storeys of the building, different types of these elements are used. Low-rise houses are equipped with plank snow retainers, medium-height houses are equipped with tubular ones, and multi-storey houses are equipped with network ones. In addition, when buying snow retainers, the roofing material used, the size and angle of the roof are taken into account. To decorate the roof, snow retainers can be painted to match the existing color.
