Split system
With the growth of large cities, there was a really huge need to increase the capacity for ventilation of air in rooms. From a simple fan, engineers have already come to complex split systems that have a large number of different positive and negative properties.
It should be noted that a split system is a conventional air conditioner, only this air conditioner consists of several modules, one of which is mounted outside the wall of the room, the other module is already installed inside the room. The external module of the split system takes in air masses, processes them, and the internal split system already purifies the air taken in from the outside from various impurities and brings it inside the room. Also, the internal module also removes the exhaust air to the outside. This more complex approach to the design of air conditioners is determined by several factors. It’s great performance, and great ease of use. But at the same time, split systems are more expensive than standard air conditioners, and installing them is much more difficult. That is why there are modular air conditioners, that is, split systems, in order to work with large volumes of air, and therefore it is required to install one of the modules outside the premises so that more air masses can be taken in.
In addition, it should be noted that in order to install an external module and connect it to an internal one, it is required to punch a hole in the wall, and a very large one, so that it is possible to connect the modules with a pipe through which the exhaust and new air will move. Therefore, the installation of split systems is troublesome and even costly, but the effect of such air conditioners is much higher, and the effect on people in the premises is much more tangible.
