UPS or uninterruptible power supplies

Of the many technical innovations that have recently surrounded us, uninterruptible power supplies have earned great popularity and demand. This is not surprising, since such a device serves to save information on your personal computer. Its main function is to provide uninterrupted power supply. But in modern models, there is also a filtering and voltage stabilization function. It helps to avoid power failures and thus ensure comfortable PC operation, without power surges, electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, high voltage pulses, high frequency pulses and other troubles. UPS, which are currently in stock, are conditionally divided into 3 groups. The cheapest and most affordable, which are usually used for home personal computers, are UPSs that have switching. They do not have a voltage stabilization function. When operating in normal mode, they filter the voltage using passive filters. They differ in small dimensions, simple design and low cost. The second group is UPS, called line-interactive. Typically used in small local networks, at home or in the office. And therefore especially popular for this segment. An autotransformer stabilizes the alternating voltage. When falling, the missing watts are added, when increased, on the contrary, they are removed. If the voltage has disappeared altogether, then the device can support the power of computers for an hour and a half. They also have an attractive design and small size. The latest group of UPSs can double the voltage conversion and are designed for large industrial facilities. They protect against all network failures. They are expensive but worth it.
